Our Story

Founded in 2022, Sankri Homestay began with a simple dream — to share the warmth, beauty, and spirit of our Himalayan village with travelers from around the world. What started as a small family home in the peaceful village of Sankri has grown into a welcoming retreat for trekkers and nature lovers.

Built with love and care, our homestay reflects true Garhwali hospitality — neat rooms, delicious homemade food, and stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Every guest who stays with us becomes part of our extended family, sharing stories, smiles, and memories under the mountain sky

At Sankri Homestay, we believe that travel is not just about places — it’s about the people, the food, and the feeling of belonging. Come experience the mountains the local way — simple, soulful, and unforgettable.
